Gen Next Play Fest!

Do you love writing and live in the Tampa Bay Area?

 

ThinkTank Theatre is seeking original short works (10-20min) from middle schoolers and high schoolers, as a part of our 2022 TYA Playwright's Festival! Selected pieces will be a part of the festival in August. Each play selected will receive a full reading featuring an ensemble of professional actors as well as members of  ThinkTank's Young Artists' Ensemble, two free tickets to the Festival Showcase and a $50.00 cash prize!

In order to submit playwrights must:

- Be 18 years old or younger (current seniors, class of 2022 are eligible to participate)

- Be a current student from the Tampa Bay area

- Submit your full script to tyaplayfest@thinktanktya.org by Wednesday, June 15th.  

- Be able to attend the 2022 TYA Playright's Festival Showcase in person.

 

ThinkTank's 2022 TYA Playwright's Festival will be at Stageworks Theatre (1120 E. Kennedy Blvd. Tampa, FL 33602) from August 12th - 21st. The Gen Next Festival Readings will take place, Saturday August 20th at 6:00pm.
