Gen Next Writes!

Are you a teen playwright residing in the

Tampa Bay Area?

 

ThinkTank Theatre is seeking original short works (10-20min) from area teens, 13-19, who reside in the Tampa Bay area as a part of our 2023 TYA Playwright's Festival! Selected pieces will be a part of the festival in August. Each play selected will receive a full reading featuring an ensemble of professional actors as well as members of  ThinkTank's Young Artists' Ensemble Apprentice Company, two free tickets to the Festival Showcase and a $50.00 cash prize!

In order to submit playwrights must:

- Be 13-19 years old to participate

- Must currently reside in the Tampa Bay area

- Submit your full script to tyaplayfest@thinktanktya.org by Tues. Aug 1st, 2023  

- Be able to attend the 2023 TYA Playright's Festival Showcase in person.

 

ThinkTank's 2022 TYA Playwright's Festival will be at Stageworks Theatre (1120 E. Kennedy Blvd. Tampa, FL 33602) from August 25th - 27th. Rehearsals for those works selected to our Gen Next Festival will take place the week of Aug 21st.
