Who we are: ThinkTank Theatre is Tampa Bay’s professional theatre company dedicated to creating high quality theatrical productions and programs for our target audience –

Tampa Bay’s Youth!

 

What is the YAE: Our YAE Company is a group of talented theatre artists who will work along side our professional company members, in an internship capacity, for our upcoming 2021/2022 season. Our YAE Company Members are current 9th – 12th graders and get the opportunity to rehearse, understudy, and perform alongside our professional actors, directors, and stage managers in our Main Stage shows during our season. The most significant component of being a member of the YAE company is gaining a network of professional actors, directors, choreographers, designers, theatre folk in general, who will always be available to mentor and recommend you as you venture from high school to beyond.

Auditions, Cost, and Performance:

Auditions generally take place the Saturday after Hillsborough County Schools return from Spring Break.

For our 2022/2023 Season the tentative audition date is:

March 26th, 2022

 

There is yearly program fee – $300. This yearly fee allows us to cover the cost of insurance, help with promotions and funding for YAE events only – even a YAE only production! There is no cost to audition.

Scholarship Opportunities are available.

 

ThinkTanks 2021/2022 Season will include productions for Nov/Dec of 2021, Feb of 2022, April/May of 2022, and August of 2022. Our YAE Company usually takes part in the

Tampa International Fringe Festival which usually runs late spring each year.
