Who is ThinkTank
At ThinkTank Theatre, we hold steadfast to the vision of producing thought-provoking, awe-inspiring, professional theatre for young people and family audiences. We strive vigorously to produce high-quality theatrical events and productions, programs for our communities through inclusion and accessibility, and to inspire audiences of all ages to find within themselves their sense of adventure, creativity and curiosity.
ThinkTank believes the work being done for young audiences today should reflect the lives of young people, speaking to them directly, and we dedicate ourselves to honoring a more progressive, forward-thinking approach, setting an example of TYA productions for the American theatre.

Young Artists’ Ensemble Coordinator – Ryan Sturm is honored to serve as TTYA’s YAE coordinator. Ryan has dedicated his career – spanning over 15 years – to education and, particularly, special education. Ryan is incredibly passionate about creating inclusive opportunities for all individuals to enjoy a meaningful life as a contributing member of their respective communities. He also has a rich theatrical background that unofficially began all the way back in 3rd grade when he told his mom that he was performing in the school’s talent show the very next day, and he needed a costume, a cassette track, and a dance routine. Mama didn’t let him down. This role allows Ryan a special opportunity to combine his two greatest passions – education and theatre – and he is proud to be a member of such a wonderful company.
Originally from Indiana, Ryan holds a B.A. in Special Education, with a minor in Theatre from Purdue University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. Ryan has been seen in multiple TTYA productions and he’s played in the sandbox with the wonderful people at Stageworks Theatre, Jobsite Theatre, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and several of the wonderful community theatres in the Tampa Bay area. Ryan also does voice over work right from his home recording studio. www.ryansturmvo.com
